Empowering emerging artists and preserving cultural heritage through strategic funding, mentorship, and global collaboration.
Backed by the legacy of the Vanderbilt family and the vision of the Council of Global Change, the fund offers an innovative platform combining strategic investment, inclusive cultural development, and mentorship for young and underrepresented artists.
Our mission is to build a global ecosystem where culture becomes a vehicle for equity, innovation, and sustainable impact.
Our fund is designed to bridge the gap between creative talent and access to opportunity, especially for young creators from underserved communities. Through public-private partnerships, we provide capital, visibility, and expert guidance across key areas:

The cultural and creative industries contribute 3.1% to global GDP and employ over 30 million people worldwide. Yet, according to UNESCO, less than 10% of young creators have access to structured funding or mentorship.
The Vanderbilt-Daxsen Fund was created to change that reality. We identify promising projects, foster artistic entrepreneurship, and elevate underrepresented voices—connecting them with the platforms they need to thrive globally.
Launching from the United Nations means one thing: we’re here to scale impact with integrity.
We work with foundations, universities, multilateral institutions, creative industry leaders, and community-based organizations to build a truly collaborative model of cultural empowerment.
